The Atmos Hybrid 2023 is the Allround Freeride kiteboard of the North brand. This means that the board is suitable for all conditions and sailing styles. The board is very similar to the Atmos Carbon, but has a wooden core which makes it more flexible and therefore it sails easier through the chop. For 2023, the board has been upgraded and is now even better.

This year the board has been given centreed inserts. This makes the board symmetrical and allows you to turn the bindings around. This is designed for the intensive user who travels to the beach from time to time. The centreed inserts allow you to turn the bindings in the right direction, which makes the heelside side of the board wear faster and the toeside side does not. The centreed inserts allow the bindings to be reversed so that both sides wear equally.

The board has a core of Paulownia wood and is reinforced in parts with DU (Uni Directional) carbon fibres. The outer layer of the board is made of glass fibre.

The atmos has a medium rocker, which makes it easy to sail upwind. This rocker also makes it easy to gain speed in low winds. In other words, this board is perfect for the all-round kiter who doesn't want to be limited to one style of sailing.
